High-pressure (1500 bar) and ultra-high-pressure (3000 bar) techniques are used worldwide for a wide range of applications to remove contamination in petrochemical installations, storage tanks, reactors, piping systems, and the steel and cement industries. Increasingly, high-pressure techniques are applied in the removal of coatings in tanks and paint layers from ships, as well as in concrete renovation. Fixed non-rotating nozzles are used for stubborn contaminations where rotating nozzles do not provide sufficient results with basic high-pressure cleaning. Antecho has a large number of nozzles with multiple bores, up to 40 x 0.5 mm, to clean special bundles, whether or not in combination with lance machines.
Rotating nozzles are increasingly being used because the use of new materials and production techniques allows pressures up to 3000 bar.
These nozzles, whose rotor can achieve rotational speeds up to 20000 rpm, are very effective in cleaning heat exchangers or polishing pipes and conduits.
